First grade picture day... I can remember the bad polyester shirt (actually, I'm wearing one right now!!! ahhh vintage attire...) , the comb in the pocket, and the instructions to keep clean at least until after the pictures were taken. Gretchen asked Kathryn to put her hair in "hot rollers" for the occasion. She wore her favorite outfit, the "tiger shirt" and matching accouterments. She looked as cute as a bug.
